Meske, William C., 93, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord February 7, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 1, 1924 in Johnstown.  Son of the late William and Anna (Glassie) Meske.  Preceded in death by sisters, Louise Bauer and Freda Meske. Survived by wife, Marion D.; son, William A., Johnstown; daughter, Dorothy Solowsky, FL; brother, Robert, Johnstown; sister, Alice Meske, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.  William served in Patton’s 3rd Army during WWII and was at the Battle of the Bulge. Former employee of Miller Block Co.  He enjoyed spending time at home and cutting grass in his very large yard.  Member of Zion Lutheran Church.  At the request of the family, services will be private, The Rev.
