Sharpe, Thomas R., 91, Johnstown, passed away July 2, 2022, at Windber Woods. Born July 5, 1930, in Windber, to the late Thomas and Audrey (Penman) Sharpe. Preceded in death by wife, Barbara (Marchl) Sharpe; son, Thomas M. Sharpe; infant daughter, Mary Beth Sharpe; brother, David Sharpe (Eleanor); and son-in-law, Kevin Fox. Survived by children, Susan Fox; Marcey Sharpe; Kurt Sharpe; daughter-in-law, Tracy Sharpe; grandchildren, Jamie Borodaty (Brian); Travis Fox (Loni); Tyler Sharpe; Cory Sharpe; Danielle Rager; great grandchildren, Steele and Cole Selders; Savannah Sharpe; nephews, Peter, Timothy, and Kevin Sharpe; and special neighbor and family friend, Gerald “Peach” Pundzak. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Koren War, where he drove amphibious vehicles. He was a member of the Johnstown American Legion and a life member of Scalp Level VFW. Tom was an avid golfer and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. He could often be found golfing or watching football with his son, Tom and good friend, Peach. Family will receive friends Monday July 11^th from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Simple Alternatives, Inc., 717 Main St., Windber.
