Sharpe, Thomas M., 58, Windber, passed away January 22, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 6, 1962 to Thomas R. and Barbara (Marchl) Sharpe. Preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, infant sister, aunt, uncle, and brother-in-law, Kevin Fox. Survived by parents; loving wife of 30 years, Tracy (Beard) Sharpe; sons, Tyler of Johnstown; Cory, at home; “adopted” daughter, Danielle Rager of Windber; granddaughter, Savannah Sharpe of Daytona Beach, FL; siblings, Susan Fox of Johnstown; Marcey Sharpe of Fort Myers, FL; Kurt Sharpe of Clearwater, FL; nephew, Travis Fox (Loni) of Arkansas; niece, Jamie (Fox) Borodaty (Brian) of Pittsburgh; nephews, Steele and Cole Selders; mother-in-law, Linda (Lehman) Beard and father-in-law, Roger Beard; life-long friends, Gerald “Peach” Pundzak; Bret Shaffer; and many other good friends; special neighbors and friends, Andy and Kim Shima and family; and cousins, Pete, Tim, and Kevin Sharpe. Also survived by Tracy’s aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special thanks to Tracy’s aunts and uncles, Anita Albert (Rick), who helped care for Tom; and Judy Saylor (Dan), Sandy Stoykovich (Dave Rager), and Brad Lehman (Deb), who were always there when needed. Tom was a 1980 graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech and certified electrician and plumber. He was a former employee of Peoples Natural Gas Company and Muzzie Electrical. Tom was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguins fan. He was a happy-go-lucky guy, known for his wit and humor, and he loved his beer! Tom will be sorely missed by all that loved him. A public celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
