Heider, Thomas Charles, 89, Johnstown, Entered Heaven October 5, 2023. Born August 1, 1934, to the late John and Helen (Wass) Heider. He was preceded in death by ex-wife Phyllis (Brett) McClellan, granddaughter, Melissa J. (Heider) Lingafelt, Brothers, Jack, Frances, Bill; Sisters, Dorothy, Mary Ruth, Betty, Ann.

Survived by children, Thomas C. (Constance) Heider Jr. from Zanesville, Ohio, Barry R. (Kimberly) Heider of Johnstown, Patricia A (Daniel) Lee of Windber. Grandchildren, Sarah G. (Harvey) Chong, Steven Heider, Amanda (Richard) Larson. Great grandchildren, Ellie and Evan Chong, Kaitlynn Lingafelt, Tyler Lingafelt and fiancée Meghan, Eric Wagner, Hailey, and Katrina Kirkpatrick.

 Brothers; James, Louis, and Robert. Sister, Carol and many loving nieces and nephews.

Tom was a kind and loving son, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked hard all his life, to provide for his family. He attended the Immaculate Conception school. He was an auto mechanic at Rudy Haupt Chevrolet , Dolan Chevrolet and the Laural Auto Group. He also worked at Waste Management Landfill as a treatment plant operator. He had a sense of humor that everyone will miss. He also loved the outdoors and fishing for Pike at Quemahoning Dam. He enjoyed taking his kids on fishing trips, he had a heart of gold, and would lend a hand to anyone. Thomas is going to be sadly missed by family and friends.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
