Landis, Rita E., 72, Windber, passed away December 20, 2019, at Windber Woods. Born June 21, 1947 in Detroit, daughter of the late Paul and Pansy (Ogline) Shroyer. Preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald Gilbert; her second husband Eugene Landis; Survived by her children, Deanna Rumsey (Dean), Craig Gilbert (Jamie), Brian Gilbert; step-children, Pamela Shaffer (Mike), Michele Shaw (John), and Shawn Landis (Kerry); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Von Shroyer (Diane), Susan Shields (Wayne), and Melvin Shroyer (Ginny), as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.  Rita loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to basket parties with her friends, listening to her son-in-law play guitar and sing in his band, and going out to eat with friends and family.
