Murray, Richard Lewis Sr., 73, Johnstown, passed away July 7, 2017 at home. Born March 30, 1944 in Windber. Son of the late E. Eugene and Dorothy M. (Weyand) Murray. Preceded in death by parents; and son, Michael Murray. Survived by son, Richard Jr. (Ita), CA; daughters, Janet Murray, CA, and Lisa Ahlborn, Windber; brother, W. Dean Murray (Margie), FL; sister, Alice Roddy; and grandchildren, Nicole Murray, Alexander Murray, Brittney Walker, Matthew Walker Jr, and Chelsey Ahlborn. Richard proudly served in the U.S. National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, competitive shooting, and was a member of the TAP Pool League. Family and friends will be received Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Simple Alternatives Inc., 717 Main St., Windber, PA 15963, where a service will follow.
