Burkhart, Michael L., 77, Johnstown, died June 19, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 14, 1942 to the late Leroy and Stella (Hayden) Burkhart Jr. Preceded in death by brother, Bobby Burkhart. Survived by brothers, John Burkhart and Shirley; George Burkhart married to Carol; aunt and uncle, Jenny and Larney; nieces and nephews, Leigh Anne; Spring; Amber married to Tom; Jr.; Joseph and girlfriend Courtney; Leafey; Rose; Richard; Joey; and Alexa; sister-in-law, Martha “Sis” Burkhart; cousins, Cub, Paula, and Tina; and special friends, Jim and Glenda. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a very religious person. He owned and managed Michael’s Tavern for many years. At the request of the family, there will be no public services.
