Bowers, Evelyn G., 99, Johnstown, died April 15, 2019, at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Born July 27, 1919 in Ligonier, son of the late Charles and Katherine (Kuntz) Ankney. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband James R. Bowers; sisters, Naomi Damser, and Helen Fry. Survived by her daughter, Lorrie K. Bowers. Evelyn was a loving wife, and mother. A memorial service will be held at Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday April 19, 2019 at 11 AM, Pastor Jim Sands, officiating.
