Nelson, Edward John David, 80, passed away on March 6, 2017 at home. Born December 24, 1936, Windber, son of the late William and Mary (Luther) Nelson. Survived by wife, Charlotte (Costantino); son, Edward and wife, Lisa; daughters, Marcy and Laura Anne; granddaughter, Julia; sons-in-law, Vincent Polistena and Rufus Knight; and cousins, James and Debra Foster. Ed was retired from Somerset Tableland Services and owner of Nelson’s Store in Windber. He was a volunteer fireman, and member of Windber Jaycees and Mount Carmel Lutheran Church.
