Malas, Donna L., 66, Cairnbrook, passed away March 21, 2020 at her home, surrounded by family. Born August 3, 1953 to the late Gerald J. and Janet L. (Gindlesperger) Lohr. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas W. Malas; and brother G. Raymond Lohr.  Survived by her children, Tina, Douglas A., and Tammy Malas; grandchildren, Nicole (Baker) Deneen (Doug Deneen), Benjamin Zindash, Shane Russian and Aaron Malas; great-grandchild, Easton Deneen; and siblings, Ernest Lohr, Charles Lohr, and Maureen (Lohr) College.Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, and a fiercely loyal friend. She was a big-hearted, hardworking person (often working more than one job) to support her family. Her quick wit and great sense of humor brought joy to all that knew her, even in her weakest days she could make you laugh. She would do anything for her family and friends. She fought a strong and courageous battle against illness for the last several years. The family wishes to thank all of Donna’s friends, co-workers, and the physicians and staff of Conemaugh Hospice, Conemaugh Home Nursing, Conemaugh Cancer Center Radiation Department and Davita Dialysis for all their love and support through this difficult time.
