Strayer, David Christ III, 66, New Paris, passed away September 1, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born January 5, 1957, to the late David and Patsy (McGarry) Strayer Jr. Survived by wife, Tammy (Rager) Strayer; children, Dava (Strayer) Cuppett and husband Troy; Adam Strayer and wife Lacey; Misty (Strayer) Wallace and husband Brian; sisters, Cheryl Turk and late husband Jake; and Kim Mohle and husband, Barry. Dave was a grandfather and great grandfather, an uncle to four nephews, and was survived by numerous friends. Dave was a parts manager for Pepsi Cola for 35 years. He was a devoted football coach for Saint Patrick Elementary School and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan, “Roll Tide Roll”. He enjoyed woodworking and was a huge animal lover, especially of dogs. Dave loved to talk and knew someone everywhere he went. At Dave’s request, there will be no public services.
