Boxler, Claire Jean, 77, Johnstown, passed away March 1, 2024. Born November 30, 1946 to the late John Henry Sr and Elizabeth (Young) Boxler. Preceded in death by brothers, Ran Young, Robert Boxler, John Boxler Jr., Donald Boxler, Sylvester “Dwayne” Boxler, and Harry Boxler; and sisters, Betty (Boxler) Loncala, Helen (Boxler) Sell, and Barbara Boxler. Survived by son, James Varner and partner Matthew Collins; brother, Ronald “Red’ Boxler; and special friend, John Nedrow. Claire worked at Walmart for most of her life. She also enjoys plastic canvas. The family will be holding a private memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, cards and donations can be sent to Jim in his mom’s memory.
