Shreffler, Candice L., 45, Windber, died April 7, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 1, 1972 in Windber. Daughter of Betty Jane (Vargo) Miller Bara and the late Kenneth D. Miller. Preceded in death by father, step father, David Bara “Hezzy”, grandparents, and dear nephew, Brandon Leiataua. Survived by loving mother; husband of 23 years, Donald Shreffler Jr.; daughter, Courtney Shreffler; son, Toby Shreffler; sister, Regina Leiataua (Faareo); brothers, Keith Miller (Jacki) and Kennith Miller Jr. (Keni); nephews, Brock, Jacob, and Josh; nieces, Leilani and Leanne; great nieces, Madison, Brighton, Ava Rose, and Cameron; numerous aunts and uncles; many friends; and fur babies, Peppy, Booboo, Bentley, and Jasper. Candy was a very selfless, caring, brave soul who always put her heart into everything she did. She was truly one of a kind, an incredible wife, mother, daughter, and aunt. She enjoyed being a homemaker, homeschooling her children, and giving back to others.
