Pickerell, Beverly A., 67, Johnstown, passed away March 15, 2020 at her home, after a courageous 10-year battle against Cancer. Born August 5, 1952 to the late Guido and Frances (Distefano) DeGeorge. Survived by her husband, Roger Beard; daughter, Amy Hawkins (Zachary); foster daughter, Shirley Bartlebaugh (John); Adopted children, Shane Beard, Stephen Beard, and Celest Beard; grandchildren, Tristen Hawkins, Conner Hawkins, and Katelyn Bartlebaugh; siblings, Antoinette Keel and Mary Grace Demyan. Beverly was employed at Ebensburg Center, where she worked as a residential service aide. She loved her job, her co-workers, and the individuals she cared for at the center, she was also a foster parent for over 20 years. She enjoyed watching classic movies, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. At Beverly’s request, there will be no viewing or service. Arrangements in care of Simple Alternatives, Inc.
