Obituary

Washabaugh, William O. (Bill), 52, Berlin, passed away on June 29, 2025. Born March 17, 1973, to the late Victor B. and Ruth Anne (Lechler) Washabaugh. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Owen W. and Ilene Wissinger and maternal grandparents, Rudolph and Vera Lechler. Survived by ex-wife, Robyn Washabaugh; girlfriend, Heather M. McCauley and her son Brogan; daughters, Victoria, Melanie, and Cassidy; grandchild, Isaiah; brother, David, sister, Penny and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; the Merrill family; and his dog, Skunk. Bill was a fireman at Boswell Fire Company. He worked as an EMT and at Passavant Memorial Homes for 4 years and at Meadowview Nursing Center for 13 years. He was an avid Steelers fan and loved music, especially country music. Bill will be deeply missed. A celebration of life dinner for Bill will be held on Sunday, July 13th at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall, 404 W. Union Street, Somerset, PA, 15501. Everyone who knew Bill is welcome to come.
