Obituary

William J. Anderson, Sr., 57, Cresson, passed away on May 16, 2025, surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. Born March 7, 1968, in Marion, Virginia, to the late Blaine and Rosella (Hawkins) Anderson.

Preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Anderson. Survived by son, William Anderson, Jr. (Cassie Smiley); daughters Aubrey Anderson (Jacob Aspey), and Autumn Anderson; ex-wife, Lynn Anderson (Terry and son Ethan Bobak); siblings, Blaine Jr., David (Brenda), Jeff, and twin sister Beverly Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

William loved music and playing his guitar.  He also enjoyed working on cars, playing with his dog, Sassy, and going fishing with his kids. William will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
