Obituary

Walter passed away peacefully in his home on November 26, 2024. Preceded in death b y parents Walter Hutzell and Irene (Lybarger) Hutzell; sister, Donna Hysell; wife, Mary Ellen Hutzell; daughter, Tammy Hicks; and grandson, Declan. Survived by daughters, Tawny Cortese and Donna Cordaro; sister, Judith Grotahn; fiancé, Phillis Burkey; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great great- grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was employed at Penn Machine, enjoyed having a beer with his friends, sitting on his deck, watching sports, and singing in various men’s groups in retirement. Walter will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Per his request, there will be no viewing.
