Black, Ruth Eileen 73, Salix, was called home, April 19, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born January 5, 1948. Daughter of the late John and Clara (Boyle) May. Preceded in death by husband, Larry Black, who passed November 22, 2020; and brother, John. Survived by brothers, Phillip (Sue) May and Donald (Patty) May; daughters, Cynthia (Rob) Vizzini, Stacy Black, Kris (Tony) Donato, and Sharon (Todd) Nickoles; grandchildren, Amanda Blough, Brandon (Amanda )Mock, Ryan Black, Nicole,( Sam )Weaver, Nathon Hofecker, Corey Hofecker, Alyssa,( Paul) Turcato; 10 great grandchildren; and best friend, Janet Bishop. Thank you to the wonderful care from 6 Ashman and Dr. Cyril Nathaniel, also palliative care. Ruth loved her husband, the love of her life since she was 14. Now they will never be apart. She was a wonderful mom and grandma and will be loved always. Her absolute favorite was Supernatural and going for long drives with Larry. As per Ruth’s request, there will be no service or viewing.
