Obituary

Goisovich, Naomi O., 99, Geistown, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born August 23, 1920 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George P. Goisovich; sister, Rita Gyure; brother, William E. Young; niece, Rita Lee Gyure; and granddaughter, Jill Holly Goisovich. Survived by sons, Glenn married to Faye; Kenneth married to Winnie, both of Johnstown; grandchildren, Melissa Plummer (Ray); Megan Slonac (Paul); Jarrett Goisovich (Rachel); Heath, Kyle, and Alyssa Goisovich; and seven great grandchildren. Naomi was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Geistown Volunteer Fire Dept., Ladies Guild, and the Democratic Club. Friends will be received Monday, December 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Simple Alternatives, Inc., 717 Main St., Windber, where a funeral service will then be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Committal Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arbutus Park Manor.
