Obituary

Charney, Michael Richard, 74, Windber, passed away March 13, 2024. Born March 6, 1950, to the late Michael J. and Elizabeth ( Richards ) Charney. Also preceded in death by son, Chad Michael Charney; sister, Gloria Berkey.

Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia ( Pearce ) Charney. Also survived by his children, Maryann (David) Tully and Shawn M. (Kelly) Charney; granddaughters, Quinn and Kayla Charney; sisters, Christine Fyock, Debbie Wilt, and Patricia Wilt; special cousin, Brenton (Lisa) Horner; special friends and neighbors, Joe (Cheryle) Robson.

Michael loved hunting and fishing, plus anything outdoors. He also loved spending time with family and friends whenever he could. Michael is going to be sadly missed by everyone. At Michael’s request there will be no viewing or service at this time.
