Obituary

Sarver, James William Jr., 72, of Berlin, passed away on December 30, 2023. Born July 25, 1951, son of the late James Sr. and Florence (Shultz) Sarver. Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law, Rick Webreck. Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Barbara (Hartman) Sarver; daughter, Amanda (fiancé, Mark Hutzell); son, Jimbo (wife, Suzanne); grandchildren, Willa and James; sister, Cathy Webreck; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sports buddies, Gary Will, Tommy Stiffler, and Ed Smith; and close family friends, Patty and John Walker, and family. Jimmy was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and Penn State University. He was a long-time employee of Snyder of Berlin. Jimmy enjoyed attending high school sporting events, golfing, and spending time with his family. At Jimmy’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Berlin Football Boosters.
