Obituary

Edward L. Meyers, Jr., 81, Central City, passed away on October 26, 2025. Born on April 15, 1944, to the late Edward L. Meyers, Sr., and Catherine (Vitko) Meyers. Preceded in death by daughter, Jennifer; brother, Edwin; and grandson, Hunter. Survived by loving wife, Judith (Russian) Meyers; daughter, Rebecca Penrod (Ben); son, Michael Meyers; grandchildren, Abbigail, Garett, Kylie, and Gunner; great grandchild, Ha’keem; and special uncle, Richard. Edward had honorably served our nation in the Army. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Windber Hospice for their care. There will be no services at this time.
