Phillips, Dessie F., 78, Windber, died September 3, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 25, 1941 to the late Frank and Anna (Yunga) Zeigler. Preceded in death by husband, James; son, Eugene; brother, Frank; sister, Ruth; and cousin, Betty “chi-chi” Campbell. Survived by children, Shannon Phillips and wife Wendy; Christine, Dale, and Desirae Phillips; grandchildren, Stacy, Frank, Sheena, Nikki Jo, Allie, and Randileigh; great grandchildren, Lexie, Taylor, Isabella, Alivia, Nathan, Haleigh, and Paityn; siblings, Jim, Bob, Evelyn, Marcy, and Anna Louise; and cousin, Ron Cardone. A memorial visitation will be held Monday September 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Simple Alternatives, 717 Main St., Windber.
