Obituary

Henry, David W., 72, Johnstown, passed on January 8, 2023, to be with Our Lord & Savior. Preceded in death by parents, Harry Jr. and Mahala (Brehm) Henry; daughter, Jennifer; and brother, Vernon. Survived by loving wife of 18 years, Suzanne (Miller); daughter, Kelly; step-daughter, Kimberly; grandchildren, Kayla, Freddy, Adakin, Kaci, Zoey, and Mylene; great-grandchild, Adalyn; brothers, Harry (Helen), John (Darlene), Kenneth (Connie), Chris (Laura), James (Katrina), and Robert (Christina); sister, Mylene (Sam); sister-in-law, Cecelia; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Ray and Al. David was a 1969 graduate of Forbes High School. Specialist David proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, as a member of 7^th squadron of 1^st air cavalry regiment. David performed a reconnaissance as part of an air assault task force from a Blackhawk during the Vietnam War at Vihn Long. In his free time, he enjoyed restoring trucks and cars. He also loved woodworking and made beautiful pieces. David and his wife, Suzie, belonged to Maple Springs Church of the Brethren.
