Obituary

Boyer, Clyde A., 78, Windber, passed away March 19, 2021 at home. Born December 8, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. Son of the late Clyde D. and Dorothy A. (Tolisky) Boyer, Central City, PA. Preceded in death by sister, Dolores Wenrick; brother, Maurice Newman Jr.; and mother-in-law, Victoria Ochoa. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Elena M. (Ochoa) Boyer; son, Brian Boyer (Kimberle), North Huntingdon; daughter, Christine Boyer (Daniel Jackson), Windber; granddaughters, Marissa, Abby, and Lindsey Boyer; father-in-law, Alfrede Ochoa, Windber; and several nieces and nephews. Clyde proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Polish Falcons, Polish Educational Club, Slovak Club, American Legion Post 137 in Windber and Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Simple Alternatives, Inc., where a service will follow at 4 p.m., pastor, Jim Sands officiating.
