Obituary

Horner, Carol Lee, 66, Windber, went home to be with the Lord, July 7, 2017 at Windber Hospice. Born December 25, 1950, daughter of Warren H. and Emily I. (Yoder) Horner. Preceded in death by her father and brother-in-law, Harry Stuart. Survived by her mother; son, Justin Horner and wife, Roxanne, Bel Air, MD; grandchildren, Camren Horner and Shayne Kubas; sisters, Martha Lapinsky and husband, Robert, Sidman; Linda Stuart, Dunlo; brother, Marlyn Horner and wife, Linda, Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was a member of the Salix Bethel United Methodist Church, Farm Women of Cambria County, and Classic Clowns of the Greater Johnstown Area – affectionally known as Doi-Lee. Family would like to extend their appreciation to staff of Windber Hospice for the care they gave. Friends and family will be received July 12 from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4 p.m., Simple Alternatives, Inc., 717 Main St., Windber, Rev. Betsy Statler, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber PA 15963, in memory of Carol.
