Obituary

Quamere J. Kirby 26, Windber, passed away January 10, 2025. Born

September 15, 1998. Adopted by Cynthia Kirby. He is preceded in death by his

sister, JoNaee Maffeo; grandparents Frank and Jane Maffeo also John Kirby.

Quamere is survived by his mother’s Cynthia (Kirby) Maffeo and Bobbi Maffeo;

also survived by brother Vincente Maffeo; grandparents, Veronica Kirby and

Rodger Michael; aunt, Holly Maffeo; uncles, Greg Maffeo and wife Susan,

Kevin Kirby and partner Deanna, Aunt Annette Kirby; and numerous cousins.

Quamere enjoyed playing on his tablet and watching TV, especially Mickey

Mouse and SpongeBob, he also enjoyed camping and being outdoors. He will

be sadly missed by family and friends. Also, his nurse Jamie Dedik. We would

like to thank Jamie and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for taking exceptional

care of Qua. The family will receive friends Friday January 17, 2025, from 1pm

till the time of service at 3pm at Simple Alternatives, Inc. at 717 Main Street
