Obituary

Miller, James Eric Sr., 80, Hooversville, passed away June 21, 2024. Born February 14, 1944, to the late Harold and Marian (Watkins) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his brother Harold William “Bill” Miller. James is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eileen (Nagy) Miller; children, James E. Jr (Cyndee) Miller, John (Tammy) Miller, Michelle Miller, Tamara (Frank) Mayak, and Matthew (Renee) Miller. He had 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. James was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hooversville, the Hooversville Sportsman’s Club, and the Stoystown American Legion. He was an avid hunter and gardener. He also loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, but his true love was always his wife, Eileen. At the request of James, there will be no viewing or service at this time, however there will be a celebration of life in July 7, 2024, at The Hooversville Community Building.
