Obituary

Maffeo, Jonaee J., 17, Windber, passed away June 5, 2019. Jonaee was the little angel to her mothers, Bobbi and Cynthia Maffeo. Also survived by, brothers, Qua and Vinnie; grandparents, Veronica Kirby and Rodger Michael; aunt, Holly Maffeo; uncles, Greg Maffeo and wife Susan; Kevin Kirby and wife Annette; and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Jane Maffeo. Jonaee will be sadly missed by her puppies. A very special thanks to Jamie and the rest of the nurses who took care of her. Surely the sun has become a little dimmer without Jonaee here to brighten up our lives. That beautiful smile, her singing to her favorite shows could bring a smile to our faces. Cindy and I are devastated by the loss of our baby girl. She received her wings before our hearts were ready. Jonaee loved Bubble Guppies, school, camping and campfires. Friends will be received June 10 from 6-8 p.m. at Simple Alternatives, Inc., 717 Main St., Windber, to celebrate Jonaee’s life.
