Obituary

Miller, Ethel Rose, 86, Windber, went to meet her heavenly Father February 15, 2018 at Church of the Brethren Home. Born March 29, 1931 to the late Stephen and Johanna (Szakal) Szadvari. Ethel was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary, Julia, Stephen, William, Louis, Louise, Paul, and Joseph; son, Kevin; grandson, Shawn; and great granddaughter, Marina. Survived by daughter, Jean Eckenrode (Llyod) of Oil City, PA; son, Alan Miller (Barbara) of Windber, PA; grandchildren, Joseph, Todd, Angelina; Chris, Missy, Stephanie, and Daniel; great grandchildren, Brittany, Austin, Kaelyn, Kasyn, and Jayden; special niece, Alicia Roxby (Randall) of Richland, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ethel retired from Best Form with 30 years of service. She will be missed by her family and remembered by all for the Christmas’ at her house and the many family picnics. She will also be remembered for her love of animals and for feeding the bunnies and birds in her yard. At Ethel’s request there will not be a viewing or service.
